AKA Balloon Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s pioneer commercial hot air balloon company. Our track record include the very successful New Straits Times Balloon Meet in June 1995, the first ever Penang to Mainland Hot Air Balloon Race, and an appearance at the Langkawi International Air Show. AKA Balloon has the expertise to operate an aerial promotion programme specific to our client’s needs.

AKA Balloon is not just limited to operating balloons in Malaysia and Asian countries. As part of the Cameron/Thunder & Colt ballooning dealership network, we are able to utilize balloonist from all over the world providing our clients with a truly international coverage. (Cameron Balloons/Thunder & Colt group, is the largest balloon dealership network in the world).

Having been in the ballooning business for the last 13 years, we are proud to say that we have gained the respect of not only the local clients, but also our overseas clients. The commitment and dedication of our staff to provide the best service is our number one priority.

AKA’s full time staff is dedicated to manage hot air balloon and airship contracts, and to organize specialized balloon events around Malaysia. Currently, there are only a few companies within Malaysia that can offer these services.

Besides organizing events, AKA Balloon has forged good relationships with the major media outlets within Malaysia. The company has had its clients featured in most of the national newspapers, and has had several appearances on the major TV stations.
